OLD TOWN
The old town of Vitoria is one of the most emblematic neighborhoods in the city, recognized as a place of tourist interest. Set on a hill, it stands out for its cobbled streets, transporting you back to the medieval era of the 13th century. However, as you stroll through this area, you can appreciate a blend of medieval and modern styles, as some of its streets feature urban art through murals and graffiti.
ARTIUM MUSEUM
The Basque Museum of Contemporary Art ARTIUM, has one of the most important collections of Basque art from the 20th and 21st centuries, along with works by prominent Spanish artists like Picasso, Dalí, and Miró. Every Sunday, it organizes activities that invite both children and adults to explore contemporary art using a variety of techniques and materials, promoting an interactive and creative experience.
PINTXOS
During your days in Vitoria you should try the wide variety of pintxos, also called miniature cuisine or nanogastronomy, which are undoubtedly the best showcase of our Basque cuisine. The most characteristic are the txikito (wine) and zurito (beer), perfect to take in one of the establishments of the old town while you enjoy the pleasant views.
